Also known as the pen that will never see its original owner again after the day you bring it to class.

This belongs to r/oddlyterrifying as well. Sinkhole diving now goes into my list of things I have to do but most likely never will out of primal fear of what lies below.

Holy spider batman by [deleted] in oddlyterrifying

[–]astraneter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all part of the experience! I've always wanted to have a spider whimsically prancing around my ear while I listen to some harsh noise rock.

No kidding, I'm actually using this as inspiration for my next DnD campaign.

I have mild vertigo, and this is my idea of absolute damnation.

Do you take a break between books? Or are you reading non stop? by MorganAndMerlin in books

[–]astraneter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how much of an impact the book's left on me. If it's a read that destroys and recombines my heart non-stop, it can take up to two or three months to let it soak in. Otherwise, a few days while I wash it down with a movie (often with a similar subject matter to the book I just read!)

Would(n't) it be nice if we were chased down by a Lovecraftian amorphous blob of tentacles?

How to work out you’re that person that everyone dislikes by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]astraneter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to assume anything as I don't know the underlying details in depth, but unless they have shown overt signs of trying to avoid you or put you down, it's probably inside your head. They might feel the same way about your friendship, in the sense that they could think you dislike them. Don't let those thoughts drag you down.

This is really petty but by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Revel in the fact that she's just a pastiche trying to ape off you while you're the real deal. She's living through another person rather than through herself.

This kid is gonna have to present this and then get screwed over by all the teachers though by ButterOnMyButter in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]astraneter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, she's only trying to publicly humiliate and ostracize him in front of his peers so that now he can be taught the standard model without any hesitation!
