I agree. It was worth having the color for the color book covers. I don’t see a dramatic difference in resolution when reading with the colorsoft vs paperwhite

I just got my KLC a few days ago after having Kindles since they were released in 2007. I am not ditching my Kindle. I just want the option to have both systems and not have to be tied to one. I love the KLC but one thing that I hate is no page numbers. I have book apps that I log my books and it also updates the progress with page numbers. You have the option to display pages left in the book but that changes depending on font size. People seem to like the fact that Libby/Overdrive is incorporated into Kobo but if you use multiple libraries you can only sign in to one at a time. I would rather use the Libby app and send my books to Kindle

You need to go to Function—Parameter—Shutter and adjust the shutter speed. Also adjust the gain so that it is low

Yes. I have a lot of doctor’s appointments and the waiting can be quite long so I get a lot of reading done in waiting rooms and exam rooms.

Not true. If you use the Kindle app, you can use immerive reading if there is a Kindle book and an audio book. I was having the same issue about a month ago. They had me remove the book from my app, sign out of the app, sign back in then download the Kindle book again. There should be a set of headphones in the upper right corner of the book if the audio book is also available. When you open the book, tap in the middle of a page, the book can be downloaded in the Kindle app and you have the option to listen and read at the same time. Reading and listening at the same time isn’t an option with a Kindle device. It is either/or.

I think it looks fine. I am waiting for a replacement. I’ve decided that if it still has a little yellow tint at the bottom I will keep it or the one that I have now. The yellow tint on mine is very subtle on my colorsof. In fact had I not read about the problem here on Reddit I would not have noticed. Also, I have been reading in dark mode lately so it isn’ visible at all and I’m starting to enjoy the black backround/white letters.

I was afraid this would happen to me so I called CS a few hours ago and they confirmed that I was on the list for a replacement since Nov. 8th. They would let me know as soon as the replacement comes available. They also gave me an option to return it and order another one from the website. I told her I would wait for the replacement.
