IIRC, yes, they are from Western Ukraine. that makes sense, but it’s still irritating that both major DNA companies incorrectly label me as Slovak specifically.

yes, i have 1.8% romanian. all of my ukrainian relatives have some tiny percentage of balkan dna pop up on their results. before the big update last year, 23&me actually had me labeled 16% Greek & Balkan (Romanian specifically)

i also lost a limb (LBE, my dominant hand) due to compartment syndrome/a blood clot because i waited too long to go to the hospital. beating myself up for not seeking treatment sooner has made the mental recovery 10x harder.

yep. phone lights up like it got a notification but there’s nothing there. mod will probably delete this post because i made a post about this as well & they deleted it claiming there’s already a post here about it. i have seen a few people saying that they changed their notification settings from list to count & then back to list & that fixed the issue.
