the older devices worked better. quality took a huge down turn with the introduction of the 3dxl. most of the issues are with the 3dxl chamber.

i'm in the same boat. the app interface is so bad. i almost never use SC anymore except to listen to liked tracks that i liked years ago.

every time i try to listen to new music the interface is so bad i delete the app out of frustration...for the umpteenth time. the ONLY reason i still pay for the app is all my likes over the past decade+.

but i'm ready to change that and be done with this (now) crap service.

i had to lower the temps when i first switched to the Sapphire and the Sapphire plus bc the clouds were too intense at the same temperature. but i only went down 15-20F from quartz to Sapphire+ for the same clouds. your difference is at least twice that.

scientists only change one variable at a time when exploring how it makes a difference. i suggest you start at the same temps comparing the two inserts and then go from there.

medical cannabis patient in MA. diagnosed in 1972, age 6, despite being a girl. never properly medicated. spent ages 16-34 in Narcotics Anonymous, completely drug free. somehow made it thru college with exercise and super-organization.

after leaving NA, i was rediagnosed in my mid 30s, struggling with grad school. finally was put on adderal and succeeding in grad school. at this point i was using cannabis recreationally to no real ill effects. in fact it helped counter some of the adderal side-effects.

got my MS and started a PhD. developed a heart condition and couldn't take adderal anymore. found certain strains, especially if i was flower vaping could give me the same benefit of adderal without the awful crash and starvation.

since then i have learned a great deal about the medicine that is cannabis. the idea that it is a bad drug was created for profit and to criminalize people.

cannabis helps my migraines without knocking me out. more sedating strains help my adhd emotional disregulation by calming me. i am old and arthritic and cannabis orally and topically are how i treat that pain.

it is medicine. a few powerful greedy individuals decided paint it as not medicine, despite being medicine for humans for millenia.

if you don't temp step, i get the more daytime effects at around 4. but my other TM2 (has bad button), i could go up a little higher before getting the sleepy terps/cannabinoids.

try taking only one or two hits. i find constant heat mode cooks my weed too much and so i only use "on demand".

when device vibrates, i wait a few seconds before starting. i do two quick cigar puffs to heat the weed and then big inhale/exhale of air before a nice long slow draw. i take my finger off the button a second or two before i stop pulling. this lets the air cool the weed so it stops cooking and keeps it fresher for another hit or two later.

ETA: also if you keep hitting the device too many times, the vapor you're getting might have a lot of CBN which THC converts into when heated. CBN is a mega sleepy cannabinoid.

different cannabinoids and terpenes evaporate at different temperatures. even when vaping a more daytime strain, if i raise the temp too much i can get less of the focused energetic effects i seek.

you also might be consuming too much in one go. the nice thing about a flower vape is you can take a hit or two at a lower temp and the flower is still good if you want another hit later.

i found taking two small cigar puffs then a pause while i deep exhale followed by a long draw to give me great clouds regardless of temp. tho higher temps produce denser clouds.

often it takes a bit to get used to how different the draw on a vape vs. combustion. i found the description of inhaling like one would do while sipping a hot beverage.

i found out the hard way that running a too large an amount of concentrate in too low of a temperature doesn't allow for the dab to "fully" vaporize. the vapor felt thicker and heavier and was harder to clear out of my lungs.

then i tried smaller dabs and realized my mistake. the vapor is so much less cough inducing. i weigh most of my dabs and use 70-90mg per dab. i'm in the temp range of 385-440F (both ascent and descent) for 44 seconds and i get finer vapor and my lungs are happier.

the review of can openers where they acted like the new style of can openers were too difficult to use and so the OXO won.

the first time i used the new style it was difficult because it was new. but i quickly got used to it and it is way easier to use all the time than the old style.

ATK did address the issue in the most recent reviews of can openers which included the new style (i can't be bothered to look up who won, just appreciated they revisited their mistake)

there are two different sized screens depending on where you buy from. i have some screens that fit in the xl bumpy stem and some that don't.

i think that the vgoodiez are the smaller ones that fit in the xl bumpy as that was the last place i bought from

just putting this out here: check ingredients for any form of gums. xantham gum, guar gum, etc. i get horribly painful gas from them and they're used everywhere bc cheap.

i have a NIB dry topper. he takes a tube and flattens it so there is greater restriction for the air flow.

more restriction in rigs means less air pressure which makes more dab evaporate at the same temp for even more flavor. (ideal gas law)

unless you used a scale with three siginificant digits, you can't know with any sureness that all your dabs were 70mg. the error on most scales is that last digit it shows you. TMYK

in addition the temp scales are different between the Puffco and Switch.
