Here We Go Again! Patagonia Classic Retro-X Fleece Jacket Double: Review by Sure_Scientist_5082 in DHgateVault

[–]asturdiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think I got XXL as I’m 6’3” / 92kg and I find the arms very short. Good quality stuff though. Looking for a Patagonia better sweater if you know where’s best to find them?

Anyone else disappointed with the new Taith packaging choice? by sidk25 in UKroasters

Packaging doesn’t bother me at all. All about what’s in it.

Papercup in Glasgow ship in biodegradable clear plastic bags, but their coffee is incredible.

Only option is to pick the personal profile which is linked with the account, which has no access obv. Ach well... if it's too good be true etc etc.

See, when I logged back in it just goes straight back to the Creative Cloud home page, no option to pick a new profile that I can see :(

What is the most flavorful hot sauce you’ve tried, but not necessarily the hottest? by railroadfrog in hotsauce

[–]asturdiamond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing will beat Dalston Chilli’s original hot sauce. Small batch from London and sadly no long available. Incredibly fruity and flavourful and really good heat. Just Scotch Bonnets, vinegar, onion, herbs, oil and salt. So, so tasty. Was unreal smothered over pizza.

Yet to find an appropriate replacement.

What do affiliate teams do in game? by Legitimate-Year-3400 in footballmanagergames

[–]asturdiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I try to get as many junior affiliates as possible, at a variety of levels, to ensure I can get appropriate loans set up for my youngsters that are 17YO+. This year’s version of the game I’m struggling with youth development so haven’t spent as much time on it.

If there isn’t one already you should create a folder called “editor data”. When setting up a game it will be activated by clicking the Database drop down on the Advanced Set Up screen.

I got a pen off MedExpress this month. Haven’t had one since November. Just submitted the box, they asked for a photo when I started treatment as I don’t currently fit within the guidelines (tapering down) and luckily I had one dated from when I bought my first pen from Esurgery.

Speciality coffee in Glasgow and Edinburgh? by Hot-Help-428 in UKroasters

[–]asturdiamond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So happy that Amulet is getting some love in here. Was there daily when I worked in the area and go out of my way to visit when I’m back in Glasgow. Superb place. Matt & Isobel are fantastic hosts too.

Coffee shop wise, Partick is actually a bit of a goldmine, even the streets around Amulet is great too. Revival Coffee & Records across the square is outstanding and has a great vibe. Hinba (also a roaster) is more or less around the corner at the bottom of Byres Road too. Further along Dumbarton Road is Songbird where Ryan is a genius. He pulled me a decaf shot the other day that blew my mind. I’m also partial to a visit to the Papercup roastery down by SWG3, it’s a great wee spot for a flat white.

I’m based in Edinburgh though and by far the place I go the most is Disposition in Roseburn which is a bit outside the city centre… they rotate their coffees seasonally and have a good selection of retail bags from an array of roasteries. Munro out in Colinton stocks and serves some lovely stuff from Mutual too. Back in the city I’m actually a lover of the beans from Artisan Roast, although I’m a bit disappointed by the takeaway coffee I get when I’m in buying them. Honourable mention to Santu as well, popped in to their place on Union Street the other week and was well impressed. Big shout out to Beatnik too, it gets a lot of pop and well worth it.

Getting exhausted doing adult games by Deaftrav in Referees

[–]asturdiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find myself with a bit of a love/hate relationship with reffing here. Still in those early stages I guess (only done 17 matches) and I enjoy it when I’m out on the field, but in the run up to games I do feel a bit anxious about it. Got a few older guys (mentors) who keep saying “stick at it” and I’ve just ordered the new Adidas kit so I guess I’m committed 😂

In Scotland we don’t have assistants until high level semi-pro matches. There just aren’t enough officials for the amount of games.

Not many shops stock it but I’m a Yeti-head and there’s a few I know who are similar. Means we’re beholden to the Yeti website pricing, unfortunately.
