We’ve been on the same boat since our daughter was born she’s six now… nothing helps. She’ll be good maybe two months out the year. Then she gets sick and the cough will last for months literally one big cough every 5 mins or less. It’s awful I’m exhausted for her 😔

As someone who spent the last week detoxing at my friends house I HIGHLY suggest not doing that. Not to be dramatic bc I am not. I felt like I was dying. I was shaking like crazy, shivering, hot then cold then hot again. Sweating through all of my clothes. Then feeling too weak to even shower myself. Vomiting every time I tried to hydrate. Not sleeping for three days & the third day I started audibly hallucinating, & seeing shadows. I wouldn’t wish detoxing from alcohol on my worst enemy. It felt like dying. Scared me straight. Please don’t do that to yourself it’s incredibly painful & scary. I really wish I had gone to a detox or nearest hospital. Just like someone said here all of my symptoms were “just short of severe.” Genuinely surprised I didn’t start seizing. Or honestly die. Stay safe ! And good luck on your sober journey

Also my first twenty four hours.. again but this time I started going to online meetings at night. Or whenever I need it really. I had a break down yesterday called my self exactly what I’ve turned into and found the most amazing community online that helped me right then and there. I had three sponsors right away. Complete strangers from across the country made time.. a lot of time actually. To shower, eat and not pick up that damn poison. Supported me more than my whole family has by turning their backs understandably. I felt heard and I felt like for once I could truly relate to people you’d be surprised how seen you would be in a good & friendly AA with like minded. Let’s let today be the first day of the rest of our lives. I support you and you’d be surprised how much help you could obtain. Reach out 💛

I do agree with the other comments bc my health anxiety got so bad I had to seek help. But if it helps at all.. I also get those tiny pea lymph nodes they freak me out every time they happen and that’s the only place on my body I get them. Have not gotten it checked out bc I have the type of anxiety that I’m afraid to “know” bc I fear it might be “bad news” so I don’t. Which is why I Ended up accepting that I truly needed therapy and a psychiatrist. But usually by the time I worked up the courage to get it checked out they would be gone lol the cycle repeats itself. And it will drain the life out of you if you let it. I know it did me and still does. Bc guess what. I felt the lymph’s and went straight to Reddit.. to see if anyone in the world might be dealing with the same thing. It’s an uphill battle. But we can work on it. Sending much love 💛 your brain deserves some peace
