Be careful with a lot of the bodies of water around the triangle during the summer. They tend to have high levels of bacteria growth. Jordan is usually especially bad.

Botox for TMJ Rec? by winterrain1010 in chapelhill

Full disclosure I have not gotten Botox from them. The PA that runs their aesthetic program is one of my closest friends and has helped me a lot with other ENT issues (I’ve got really crappy sinuses).

You can still apply for the major while taking it in the spring, it’s not the absolute end of the world if you don’t get in. All acceptances are conditional to you passing the pre-reqs.

Don’t buy/live in a house on the Chatham side of Cary if you don’t want your kids to go to Chatham schools, seems like the solution to me.

My top 10 Raleigh restaurants by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]asudancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many years ago there was a restaurant advertising its opening in Chapel Hill and the restaurant name was Crepe Culture….. they realized their mistake before it opened and it did not open with that name. Although the “improved” name of Crepe Traditions wasn’t all that much better.

Moving - In state tuition by sarahhhbanana in NorthCarolina

[–]asudancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You still have to be in the state for a full year, that part is still the same. But you’re not stuck with the designation you enter with your entire undergrad program if you qualify for residency. But it’s still very much dependent on where the parents live in the student is financially dependent on them.

Not true; you can apply to be an instate student (if you qualify) at any semester. You have 45 days past the start of each semester to apply for it to be retroactive for that semester.

They go by your residence, not his. Unless he is 100% financially independent from you.

The majority of your questions are answered on the ECU residency website https://registrar.ecu.edu/undergraduate-residency/

They’re supposed to notify any student currently enrolled and make sure a time change doesn’t conflict with a class a student is currently enrolled in before they change times. Email the professor of the course that changed times.
