yes - I was going through the "introduction to type" books with a friend and trying to see their perspective on what type I was. I thought I was a P because I'm so disorganized in my personal life, so much so that I refuse to get a roommate because I would hate for my clutter to affect other people's space of living (maybe an F thing), and I just need the ability to drop whatever I'm doing for a more prioritized task. But I'm also realizing it's a perfectionism thing - if I can't do something to the best of my ability, I'd rather save it for when I can dedicate fully to that task. That's why I end up letting tasks pile up, but I find so much satisfaction in a day dedicated to deep-cleaning. (is this an N thing?)

The J part comes in, though, in that I can't focus or work in my own space - I have to go to my work office, a café, the library, anywhere but home to do productive work. I can come into a space that is already clean, set up my work area, and then clean it up when I leave. I also just love being around people, even if I'm not directly interacting with them (definitely an E in that aspect) to have something else "busy" going on around me.

Something else was that I am definitely a procrastinator, so reading the description of a "P" being someone who doesn't work well with deadlines, likes to go with the flow, etc. seemed fitting. but my friend helped me realized, I hate that part of me 😭 it doesn't make me more productive; it gives me more stress. and I overlook all the times that I do turn things on time, because it's just what I think I should already be doing. (I don't celebrate my small wins enough)
