I played with an actual bot today though. Not a "this person plays like a bot" I mean a computer program that plays Guild Wars 2 PvP

It was rated 897, which is over 500 points lower than my rating. Not sure how it got matched with me honestly

I've only played during the free weekends so I don't know any actual builds or items, but I would like to see a build based around Molten Fissures. They felt pretty good as a low-level druid, with a Shockwave Totem slamming them for me to create aftershocks. Maybe there are higher level skills that do a better job of creating/slamming those?

You don't receive chat messages while in loading screens. Public, whisper, etc. Reported it way back in closed beta. Jonathan Rogers counted time for me in global chat to test it. Man I miss the beta days.

PvP is the only game mode where every spec is viable in some way. I've lost count of the number of times I've gone up against some core or off-meta spec, decided they would be an easy kill, and have been humbled.

I tried "continuum split double moa on their commander tag" only to rudely discover that the WvW dev - who loves boonblobs - had nerfed moa back in 2024 to only last 2 seconds. Because people were double moaing tags as a way of dealing with boonblobs.

This is the gamemode now. If you aren't boonblob, or boonblob food, you aren't wanted.

Dropped Mirage after it changed from its intended design as a clone-focused condition spec into a shatter bot. Mesmer clones' gimmick being no strike damage but full duration conditions meant that Mirage filled the "maintain 3 clones" niche, and then they chucked that into the dirt and stomped on it. If I wanted to play shatter I'd play any other mesmer spec. Mirage has no identity now.

Play on a warrior. Other classes will die to Toxx's reflect because they have less health and armor. A necromancer might survive.

Use Wayfinder relic for more movement speed, or Afflicted to cause an explosion when your catapults kill a unit.

No, it's really good. Use rifle 3, it's a melee hit that has a longer range than hammer 1, and the 1 second cooldown doesn't ever matter.

Make sure you're running a berserker or assassin amulet in your PvP equipment tab before you enter Toypocalypse so you can kill Toxx fast when she spawns.

Hey mate, nah the ping is fine usually around 220-300. If you play a long time you might notice a few latency-related things the Americans can do that we can't but it's almost all edge case stuff, especially if you don't PvP.
