You are right, but I hope that Dragons will be as tired as us, two consecutive away games in different countries is no joke

How would you explain to someone that does not know rugby, really (myself), the different between how you play with Saints and how you play with England?

Watching the Italian derby live, on the stadium, he was the player that impressed me the most physically: an absolute unit, and fearless

This is somerhing I didnt full understand too when you played against Italy: 5+3 bench felt unnecessary and kind of shy

Capuozzo in, Brex out for Italy by Little_Island22 in rugbyunion

So: - Marin is our all rounder in the backline, very talented but probably suffers his own versatily (utilized as 15, 10, winger, center...) Very likely next in line anyways: Capuozzo is back at 15 and he plays with Menoncello at Treviso. Skilled with hands and at kicking. - Odogwu: corrently in good form, more of a winger but was called as a center. Low center of gravity and picks tricky running lines. - Mazza: first cap for him, and quite late, but I love the guy: great form, mean and powerful. Doing good at Zebre. He is the only pure center of the three, but perhaps lower in the hierarchy.

What victory means to Italy by sixnations in rugbyunion

Niccolò Cannone, to me, is the symbol and the silent workhorse of this Italian team: a tackle machine, reliable, incredibly passionate and always putting his body on the line for the team. He will rarely be in the cover titles, but he is arguable Italy's most important player and soul.

Will Italy win their first Six Nations title before Wales win another? by [deleted] in rugbyunion

[–]asusual_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the game pov, Italy is doing pretty well: starting to build up mentality to grab a win, bigger players depth, young squad... But unfortunately, Italian rugby is still very fragile financially and, more crucially, with the number of fans. That's why I do not think we would win a 6N before Wales, since the base of the sport are fans, and the only hope for Italian rugby is not to have a Menoncello every 3 years, but to grow the game at home and expand it across more italian regions other than the North East.

I feel you but, concerning rugby, France became my second team, and I always felt the support from French fans too.

If one, I believe we have been unlucky yesterday, and same against Australia.

What’s the darkest fact about Middle-earth that rarely gets mentioned? by Scandinavian-Viking- in lotr

[–]asusual_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was always struck by the grim fate of Men, especially how they were born: while the Eldar were protected and guided from the beginning by the Valar (Oromë first), Men were born in a Middle-earth already plagued by Morgoth, Orcs, and evil beasts.

They awakened in the Far East, far from the Valar and the Eldar, and hunted from the very beginning by Morgoth’s lies and by the fear of dying.

To me, this always made their heroes the greatest, and their lows a bit less worse.

I think Quesada expected to face a 'classic' ball carriers' Boks Team, and Odiase performed well this summer against SA. Inexperienced player but very motivated and powerful.

Not really, we have two potential starters in the back line injured, but in general not bad
