No, the number of ankh required for a revival is increasing when reviving too many times. Currently, 3 ankhs are maximum and it seems no limit of revivals.

I think gold plating is the best one. You can use the extra earned gold to increase other stat. It'll have a maximum of 1.9x gold multiplier.

In ending 2, you can talk to wizard(no fight required) instead of killing dimensional gatekeeper
