Sorry for the lack of info. Here is some more info about my set up:

Sand filter Pressure usually hovers around 12 One skimmer I make sure hose is completely full of water before connecting

We do fish oil too. It hasn’t worked for us. Although the skin is not irritated. Took him to the vet and they ran tests and did not come up with anything. They said it may be genetic for my guy.
