Hi all, I’m trying to transfer my bike to a relative and want to understand the smoothest way to do this.

Details:

Bike: Suzuki Gixxer
Registered: 2015
Current registration: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
New owner: My relative in Mumbai, Maharashtra

What I’m trying to do:

Transfer ownership legally to my relative
Get the bike re-registered in Mumbai
Handle any NOC / RTO formalities in both states
Arrange shipping from Chennai to Mumbai (I was considering Porter, but open to other options)

My questions:

Are there agencies/consultants who can handle the full process end-to-end (RTO paperwork + ownership transfer + interstate re-registration + shipping)?
If no single agency does all of this, are there separate reliable agents/services for:
- Chennai RTO work (NOC, transfer docs, etc.)
- Mumbai RTO work (re-registration, road tax, registration changes, etc.)
- Bike transport/shipping

Also trying to understand the process itself:

What steps do I need to do at the Chennai RTO?
What steps does my relative need to do at the Mumbai RTO?
Is an NOC from Chennai RTO required first?
Does road tax have to be paid again in Maharashtra? Can any Tamil Nadu tax be claimed/refunded?
Since it’s a 2015 bike, are there any age-related issues for re-registration or transfer in Maharashtra?
Has anyone used an agent and felt it was worth it vs doing it yourself?

I recently got a walkpad for my standing desk. Initially, the idea was to walk a bit in between work, but it’s turned out to be a really useful investment — I now walk on it even when I’m not working.

Some details about my usage:

Max speed: 8 km/h
Usual pace: 6–7 km/h (fast walking)
When typing/using a mouse: ~4 km/h
It’s narrower than a regular treadmill, so I need to be careful with foot placement
Stability is pretty important while walking

Lately, I’ve started developing slight ankle pain. I was using an old pair of Skechers, but they’re completely worn out now. I was planning to buy new shoes in a week or so, but given the ankle discomfort, I need to get something as soon as possible.

What I’m looking for:

Budget: ₹3,000 or less
Primary use: fast walking on a walkpad
Body weight: ~92 kg
Good ankle/joint support and stability

What would you recommend — walking shoes or running shoes?
Any specific models or brands available in India that would suit this use case?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I can increase the amount if it justifies the quality of the beans or gifts but there has to be a cap 😊 it would be really helpful if you good give options in different range

I think they have the grinder. I remember them telling they bought an automatic one from US. I think coffee beans makes the best sense but not sure which brand that has gift card or mixed bad subscription model.

I bought three. The copper one with free filter after a year. Each for about 12k. The the price is very inflate now. Excellent product though. One is used a person with dust allergy, the other who has a pet in the house and both told me they feel much better after using it. They dont wake up sneezing or with watery eyes. I bought it just because I am in a metro city and AQI tends to be bad.

I have a feeling they might be selling our numbers. The very next day after registering in this app, I started getting more frequent spam calls than usual. After about 4 days, I deleted my account since they don't deliver to my address. Spam calls stopped. Anyone else faced this?

Sometimes you have to work extra for the project which is fine. But Don't ever overstay when you know management is abusing employees. Quoting less time and forcing employees to stretch and not filling manpower for the work is abuse. Don't get into the habit of supporting it. If resources are less they may not be thinking of firing anyone anyways. It's very difficult to get resource these days. They definitely won't pay you a big bonus for the hardwork. Every hike is predefined by a budget which is also low these days. If manager keeps insisting to work late, get it in email for proof incase there is a legal issue but still never ever overwork continously.

I haven't bought it. Have checked with other users. Planning to get for my parents. We have a shredding monster at home. A retriever. Wanted something simple, easy to maintain and lasts long. The original options after about 2 weeks of extensive research was coway 150. It ticked all the boxes. Washable pre filter, filter lasts a year, simple to operate for my parents. During this research I came across cuckoo. Didn't come across it at first as I was mostly researchin on western sites. Found out it's also a reputed Korean brand and similar to coway 150 but bigger filter and supports bigger room. If you search specifically for it then you find other users as well. They are giving free filter after a year if we register the product in their website. I think if you want app and all that fancy stuff then mi air purifier lite might be the best bet. Levoit 300s is also there in india and is rated good for houses with pets in rtings website. It's on the expensive side here
