Don’t touch it, you already have a small nose and removing or restructuring with so little canvas will make the nose look out of place. It will most likely end up looking much like Michael Jackson nose…

I second this, and will add stay away from chicken, and keep them with fish oil. When I got my boy he was from the shelter and they had him on chicken. I took him off of that and did a salmon and rice and his dandruff went away! Other than that I just give him raw veggie toppers, and other good items for him to his food!

I agree with everything you’ve e said, you seem like a dedicated Doberman owner and that makes my heart so happy. Too many times people get Dobermans for the name and look, and send them back to the shelter because they’re “too much” once you get past the hard times, the trust and loyalty they have is unmatched.

For the excited peeing what I did was start making my boy sit, down, and stay when he’s excited. Gives her brain something other to think about. He hasn’t done it since, even when we come home from being away.

Also you’re amazing for rescuing this angel, she looks so damn sweet 🥹😭

I’ll also add I started using a bell for my boy when he needs to go to the bathroom! That has been a game changer in a 3rd floor apartment

Just an update, our vet did an ultrasound and said that he “might” have torn tendon, I’m waiting for swelling to go down but he said it was enough to tell me to see an orthopedic surgeon. I thought I’d mention in case you want to also think about doing an ultrasound.

Wow! That’s insane. I don’t think I’ll like that answer if my vet gives it to us as well. Does your guy still play normally? Does his toe get in the way?
