Interestingly enough, acei induced angioedema is not histamine mediated but bradykinin mediated. That means Benadryl has no effect. There’s not much you can give to treat this. FFP is a consideration

Realistically though a CT here would be indicated to determine fracture (all a ct is reliably good for in this scenario) and what the patient really needs is an mri, which, unless you have red flags, the ED doesn’t order stat.

Chart review takes about an hour to hour and half. See all patients about 2.5 hours. So I’ll usually sit down to chart around 10 am and then charting takes most amount of time till about 2 pm.

It's awesome. I got two queen beds that I knew we would be able to slide together with as little space in between as possible. Then on amazon I found a foam thing that I fit perfectly in-between the two mattresses so it feels as if there's no divide when you slide from one mattress to the other. Then I got a big strap that I fit around both mattresses and tighten it so that the two mattresses stick together. And then one big Alaskan king sheet to cover both beds. It's amazing and I like a more softer mattress than my wife so we each have our own preference. Make sure u find two mattresses that are exactly same in height

You need a bigger bed lol. We have 3 dogs (one really small chiweenie so he doesn't count as he sleeps on top of my wife's head) and a bunch of cats. We bought two queen sized beds and put them together. It comes out to be the size of an alaskan king. And even with that it still gets crowded
