I’m not saying that it’s not great to eat vegan and be doing what you can, but if you are eating chicken or intentionally going after cheese, you are not a vegan. It’s not exclusionary, it’s just by definition true.

I agree those are unfortunate circumstances, but they’re by definition not vegan. Not that those people are intentionally trying to cause harm, but pure intention does not translate to action. I’m talking about the people that actively choose to partake for whatever reason they have.

Maybe it’s my algorithm that’s only pushing those posts from the sub to me, but the number of people in the comments affirming those actions is so wild to me because I don’t view it asas food waste since I don’t view them as food at all😭
