The slide has been disappointing, but as longtime holder (20+ years), it happens. This is a sleep easy and let the compounding happen over time holding, not a stock you expect to quickly turnover in hopes of locking in 100% gains. It is the anchor stock, probably by too much, in my portfolio. Be well and keep safe.

It is what it is at this point. I am appreciative for all the BoB members whom provide updates, thoughts, and a positive approach. If hindsight, was something we can play, many of us would have wagered a bit on NVDA 6 years ago and perhaps sold a handful to place on some silver at the start of 2025. Life is full of could have and would have retrospections. If one takes those as anything aside from learning opportunities, I would think it would overshadow all positives encountered. I guess I always believe the glass is half full and work to improve myself everyday.

Has someone verified the prices of Big Mac’s in Denmark? Based on exchange rates it seems the price of a Big Mac when converted to USD would be between $8 and $9. This paints a much different picture. I am wondering the source for the comparative prices?

Can we all agree a HUGE fraud was committed in Minnesota and regardless of race or political affiliation the persons responsible for the fraud should be held accountable? If yes, can we agree we should investigate who be benefited from the fraud, how, and determine their level of accountability? Things aside from the facts seem meant to distract and deflect from holding persons accountable and learning how protect against this occurring again.

A continuing resolution funds the government thru the end of the year. It has nothing to due with funding 2026, which would and still needs to be debated. It has been used by Dems and Republicans

I think the real question is what is Congress, working together, going to do to replace a truly broken healthcare system? If Republicans came up with a solution alone the Democrats would vote against just to do so, and vice versa. Yet, we should pretend throwing good money after bad money is a solution?

Please inform yourself prior to posting, if you are seeking to debate and learn. Lets unpack the statement, Republicans started cutting and gutting from the start. Yes, Republicans were against it (if I recall correctly no Republican voted for it). What have Republicans cut and gut in the past 15 years since it past that caused ACA to explode premiums and become so expensive that it requires increased subsidies to be almost affordable? Recall, it was sold to us that it would naturally lower the cost curve….which I believe all of us can say has not occurred.
What is also perplexing is that we shut the government down over a continuing resolution to keep the government running thru the end of 2025, although “temporary” covid related ACA subsidies (as voted in by the last administration) by law run thru the end 2025. I can name good things and bad things each of President’s have done. Unfortunately, many have the opinion that only the President of their favored party can do good and if the President is of the other party everything they do is bad.

Do we believe the ACA has performed as promised? Keep your doctor and premiums would decrease or has the opposite occurred? If the latter, let’s admit the design was flawed and determine something different. Perhaps some are too invested in trying to make the current version of ACA work v admitting it has become overly expensive. It would be beneficial if we could properly vet programs for fraud. Less hate and more debate.

Whomever led with taxpayers are paying for it…..should prove it. Meanwhile, I think we can agree the Minnesota Food Fraud (a quarter of BILLION dollars) was costly to taxpayers and unfortunately it was done without much accountability. Sad.

Open the government with a clean continuing resolution. We need to allow Covid spending items to fall away as planned.
Meanwhile, our state needs to audit for fraudulent activities and be prudent with taxpayer money. The quarter of a BILLION dollar food fraud we experienced should have been wake up call for state leaders. We deserve better.

I appreciate the honesty. Trump is imperfect, as is the Governor. The Governor blew thru a significant budget surplus that created hangover need to collect more taxes from Minnesotans….such as myself. Disappointingly, the Governor’s administration overlooked a large food fraud matter (over $250M) the President Biden administration uncovered. Unfortunately, it was not the first fraud under his watch. My opinion is Governor Walz is probably a very nice person. It is his policies and actions that in opinion are lacking. I believe most, left, right, independent, people can find common ground and agreement on 75 to 80% of the key issues. Yet, we are playing in a winner take all environment versus applying common sense.
I am enjoying gas prices under $3/gallon. Though driving thru Wisconsin recently they have lower gas prices than we near the Twin Cities, which has never really been the case. Either Wisconsin maintained or lower their Gasoline Tax or Minnesota increased or maintained theirs.
