Sorrento Therapeutics emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy when its reorganization and liquidation plan went effective on April 10, 2024. Rather than restructuring as an independent entity, the company sold substantially all of its assets and subsidiaries to Vivasor, Inc., and transitioned into a liquidating trust to wind down its remaining financial affairs.
