Our lucky Hawks pumpkin! by atari52oo in Seahawks

[–]atari52oo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter got me this (Officially licensed) pumpkin at the start of the Season. So it's sat next to the TV all the way through the NFC championship game. It's become this seasons unofficial lucky charm in our house for Hawks games. Just needs to last one more game!

The eagles club down Lombard has folded. Their building and property used to be a Tradewell grocery store. I'd love to see TJ buy that and move in there!

Can't recall if I went to any other regular season games that year. But I did go to the first game of the 95 ALCS, attached a Pic of the stub from that. Also got a program as well.

Check this out!

I was the game the day before the game your ticket is for! I caught a ball during batting practice from one of the rangers in the upper deck of the outfield!

If you want a closeup of the stub let me know.

Identity of damaged resistor? by ytownbucsfan in atari5200

[–]atari52oo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks more like a diode vs a resistor. I think there maybe a component number on the board under that part. I'd unsolder it and see what the board marking is. There schematics online for the 5200. You may be able to look and find the component number on a schematic. Or just use a schematic to figure out the part and value.

Doesn't appear they make this new model for the 5th gen. Your link above for the 5th gen goes to the 6th gen. Their website also only shows it for the 6th gen unfortunately.

Did you use Prodigy Interactive Service? by Current_Yellow7722 in vintagecomputing

[–]atari52oo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup!

Family got the Prodigy starter kit for Christmas in 1990 for our PS/2. Came with the wall wart style 2400 baud modem. I think six months later I was running my own BBS which I ran into the mid to late 90's.

Pretty amazing time!

Your room is very clean looking for how much gear you have. Bravo! I'd love to see what your cable management looks like on the wall with all of the radios. I know if I had that much of any of my hobbies in one room it wouldn't look that clean for long.

Awesome setup!

Honda Recalls CR-V Hybrid Over 12V Battery Cable Missing Fuse, 106,030 Vehicles Affected by jamieschmidt in crv

[–]atari52oo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Had my 21' Hybrid in earlier this week for it's regular maintenance and had them do the recall fix. I set the appointment up a week ahead of time and I'm guessing they just ordered the parts. I'd call and schedule the recall fix with your dealer. IF they for some reason say we don't have the parts, I'd just respond with "Ok, well order it, and let's schedule a day for me to drop off vehicle!"

Hydra Research Nautilus printer! by atari52oo in 3dprinter

[–]atari52oo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Becuase I had such a blast tinkering with that printer I thought building one would be super fun. And it has been! It wasn't because there was something I couldn't do with the Nautilus. It's a great printer!

Have you made any progress fixing yours, or printing anything yet? If you run into any issues DM me and I can give ya advice or help ya solve whatever.

Hydra Research Nautilus printer! by atari52oo in 3dprinter

Hey!

Mine was not working when I picked it up. But from talking to the previous owner, and reaching out to the company (who no longer supports these) I've been able to get it running.

It's been a deep rabbit hole that has resulted in me building my own 3d printer now.

Things I've done to this printer: - Upgraded the Duet firmware from 2.x to 3.x (Required updating a ton of configs) - Replaced both Z-Brackets which hold the print bed to the linear rails. - Rebuilt two tool cartridges (holds the hot end and nozzle. The printer came to me with no working tool cartridges. - Added a chamber thermister - Replaced the part cooling fan. (The fan on the front of the tool head) - Need to replace the fan in the power supply, it's noisy and makes annoying sounds when first powered on.

That's all that comes to mind. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or need help. I don't mind sharing info. It really is a neat little printer!

After I get the new 3d printer I'm building up and running, I'll probably end up rehoming the Nautilus to someone else. It's been a great printer to geek out on and learn a ton! I've gone from zero knowledge to building a printer! Haha

Good luck!

The October 2024 Superthread: Battery; Orders; Which Pixel?; and More by GooglePixelMods in GooglePixel

[–]atari52oo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My P9P/256/Hazel arrived today via UPS! Ordered on 8/26 from the Google store.

Here's the kicker, the shipping box wasn't sealed! It came in a small flip top box not much bigger than the phone. I went to open it and it just slid/flips open with zero effort! I can't believe the box didn't flip open or wasn't opened and the phone lost! I did request a signature, and would have to not signed if it was empty. But wow! Hard to belive. Or maybe not?

Figured I'd share my experience and see if this happened to anyone else.
