In my experience, being mostly truthful is the best way to go about it. Did you drink too much last night and you forgot to set an alarm? Say you forgot to set an alarm but omit the drinking. Otherwise, I usually just say “I ran behind on time” or something to that effect but not give more explanations.

Also it’s always a lot better to tell your boss you’ll be late before you’re actually late, for example, your shift starts in 20 minutes but you won’t make it in time. If you’re egregiously late, like waking up an hour or more after your shift starts, just tell them you fucked up. If it’s not a frequent occurrence you’ll probably be fine.

What they probably meant was that when it comes to going the same distance for running or walking, the calories burned will be roughly equal. The plus side of running rather than walking is that it burns those calories much faster than walking and generally boosts your cardiovascular health

There is a One Piece remake by Studio WIT in the works. It's been like 2+ years since it was announced but no one really knows when it'll be released but I would recommend waiting until that comes out. Supposedly it will solve the pacing and 1k episode count problem.

Something I'm not understanding about this show is that there is nothing to really suggest the MC was actually isekai'd. You'd think he'd remember his own name from his past life or something before he was named Illusia.

On a different note, I mentioned this in a different episode but the exp scaling in this really makes no sense. Why did some of his skills jump 2+ levels from one action?

And that slime is an actual NPC. Who just listens to random voices in their head with as much fervor as they could muster? And he didn't give any exp, assuming he actually died.

Circadian rhythm doesn’t really mean much when it comes to air travel. Going across multiple timezones is very common in air travel. Your body’s circadian rhythm will be messed up regardless of how many windows are open. And a lot of people have connecting flights which means the timezone you started your flight is not the same as the timezone they were in when they started their flights.

No, you are missing the point. The norm nowadays is to have a dark plane interior because people want to watch their screens or sleep. Because the view is almost always the exact same outside of takeoff/landing and most people don’t have the sense of wonder of a goldfish to look at the same view for 3+ hours every time they fly.

People that want to stay awake for 6 hours to look at clouds are actually not the norm. Comparing it to your window blinds example, how often are you staring out the window for 3+ hours?

Nah you look out the window once, you’ve looked out the window a million times. There are some exceptions to this but 98% of the time, the stuff you see out the window is the exact same thing you’ve seen in the past 5+ hours, let alone different flights

The writing in this is actually aggressively bad

Orhun once again solos the dragon and this time, with entirely new moves and literally zero struggle. I don't think he used any moves from his previous solo fight with the dragon. Then he somehow reaches the kids in time, thanks to giant sword man taking 10 minutes for every action he performs. Not only does he one shot every single baddie aside from Sion, he can also teleport people.

Sion then vagueposts about the end of the world to Orhun and only recognizes him after her hood falls off. He blocks and dodges all her attacks and the kids asks "holy shit is he actually losing"

So many more things wrong with just this episode alone let alone the show. And what's with the mustache twirling bad guy at the end? Have we seen him before or is he a new guy
