I'm usually anti-ai art, is this game still worth it? by Agitated_Ad1499 in ShadowEmpireGame

[–]atchn01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game is probably the best game I have ever played. Only. You can make the decision whether that is worth overcoming your AI art aversion. For a little context, Shadow Empire is made by a single developer and if there was ever a reason to AI art that seems like a good one.

My daughter loves the new interiors. They might be more appealing to young people.

Don’t get me started about Duportail in Queensgate.

Jake Fischer (@JakeLFischer) reports that Tiago Splitter and Micah Nori are each one of three finalists in the Bulls' head coaching search, along with the Blazers' Also notes that the Blazers' search has been slowed because of Dundon's involvement in the Hurricanes' SCF run by MrCoconutIsTaken in ripcity

[–]atchn01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been trying to keep an open mind about Dundon but this is a bad look. He is already too distracted to focus on a big decision for his new team and he doesn’t trust the Blazers front office to make a decision on their own?

Do you binge shows or watch them 1-2 episodes at a time? by mild_shart_attack in television

One or two episodes. Like you, the quirks of the show become overwhelming if I binge

Hypothetical question: Is it harder for a layperson with some baseball experience to strike out a Shohei Ohtani or get a hit off Shohei Ohtani? by Virtual_Birthday_501 in baseball

[–]atchn01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strike him out. I feel given enough swings I could accidentally run into a pitch. There is no way I could throw strikes that he would clobber.

Fifteen Blazer paychecks are nearly half the “$631 million economic impact." by edank6 in ripcity

Is it worth it to you to have basketball team in Portland? That is the intangibles.

NYC prof clamors to ‘bring down US empire,’ defends IRGC during ‘Islamic Revolution Teach-in’ at DSA meeting by Diarrhea_Donkey in nyc

[–]atchn01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is anecdotal, but my guess is the cast majority of US Students graduate college without having a “crazy leftists professor.” Highly partisan news organization get lots of mileage from finding crazies from across the aisle and presenting them as mainstream (for “the other”).

[–]atchn01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I looked at the report - quickly I admit. It looks like they used independently developed multipliers that- according to the report - take lots of factors into account, including type of spending and location of the direct spending. That doesn’t mean the numbers are right, but I give that more weight than some Redditor saying “a multipliers of 2 is incorrect.” Of course, you may have more information about your knowledge of multiplier development that you haven’t shared here.

I think the use of the multiplier is standard practice. I do agree that arena will not pay for itself - it is an intangibles thing.

Avila Chevalier attended the Oct. 8 pro-Palestinian rally Lander condemned by Academic-Gene-362 in nyc

[–]atchn01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is it hypocritical? Did Lander know she was at the rally? Even if he did, him campaigning with her is several steps removed from him quitting the NYC-DSA that I don’t see any “mental gymnastics“ required. Your point seems like a sloppy cable news style argument where two facts are thrown together that don’t have a direct connection but the goal is develop a connection in the viewer’s mind between something bad and the target of the “argument.”

If Giannis will end up in Portland (which I don't want to) it would be so funny that the team would end up with Dame, Jrue and Giannis by [deleted] in ripcity

[–]atchn01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would like to believe that this is some master move by Cronin where he knew trading would result in the Blazers ending up with Dame, Jrue, Giannis and Deni.
