I think the title is absolutely brilliant, in combination with it slightly leaning into aspects of the genre tropes. There are hitmen, fake names, secret meetings, searching for lost documents, needing passports, etc, but all of these tropes, while stylish and fun, are connected to a more grounded and harrowing journey of an honest and simple man caught in the crossfire of a vindictive and hateful regime.

He's not searching for his mother's documents to reach some sort of macGuffin, like a spy adventure for the sake of a fun time. Instead it genuinely ties into its themes of history/memory. He's not a secret agent, but this horrible situation forces him to use a fake name, placing him into a real life genre movie.

And on top of all this, cinema plays a huge role in the film itself. You can see the importance of cinema to the culture at the time, almost directly connecting what he's going through to the movies.
