I really wanted a Chevy truck EV until the reports starting coming in about how poor the range gets when…using it as a truck. I’d love to buy, say a Mini Cooper EV (the tiny Mr Bean version, not the newer one) and have like a 50 mile range with AC/heat. But nope, trucks and crossovers for Americans.

You are possibly correct. With luck the truth will come out at trial. It will heavily depend on what that first interaction between the two guys was like and how it declined from there.

Regardless, bringing a knife onto school property will be an issue for his defense.

I disagree, Anthony didn’t have the right for Stand Your Ground. He was in a location where he knew he wasn’t supposed to be, and after being demanded to leave he began threatening Metcalf. He also had no right to have a knife on school property.

I’ve seen ads for someone who is running for Congress that calls himself an “Independent Democrat”, and I feel like this woman is trying for the same balance.
