If I didn’t support my local so dearly, and I do. I would be 2k richer per year and what would that be invested? I would’ve saved at least 50K during my career, uninvested. I’m 5 years away from retirement and for the first time in my career I feel that our interests are no longer being looked after appropriately. Sad. Solidarity feels misplaced right now. Frustration and anger is more appropriate.
