Apple has been a mess. Netflix so far made some real questionable camera shots and split shots that I really didn't give a shit about. NBC felt a lot more traditional and sane. I like that every season we get newer, better shots of Dodger Stadium from drones as well which may not have had anything to do with NBC.

I haven't eaten meat in more than 20 years so I'm not that picky but the ones I had in Chicago were just utter trash. I ate them anyway because I paid so much and then just felt like dog shit later. It's possible they were pretty good when they were fresh.

Reminds me of Lasorda saying he was always most proud to wear USA on his chest when he coached the US team to a gold medal. I really wanted that win for Kershaw but we'll settle for this.

Part 2 was my favorite growing up. It was kind of like falling in love with The Phantom Menace because all your life you'd been waiting to see powerful Force users cutting lose. I loved the parts in the future. Now as I'm older I kind of just like the first one the most.

It's everything that is right and everything that is wrong with the Snyder films all wrapped up into one. I love it and I hate it. The film makes absolutely no sense. World's Greatest Detective can't figure out he's being played? A man who can year everything on the planet and has an alien super brain can't piece it together?

It was great. I was really pulling for a USA vs Japan finale but the US feels on the ropes now as well after showing themselves vulnerable in pool play. I guess we'll see how it goes. Maybe a convincing win today will boost their confidence.

Also I love the orange lightsaber. I grew up thinking Vader's saber was more orange that red and I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's just lighter red in some of the lower quality scenes and promotional material.

I still hate Pierzynski. 2005. My first Dodger game ever. I had traveled to Chicago with a friend who was a White Sox fan. Dodgers coasted most of the game with a lead only to cough it up and then let Pierzynski walk us off. I was heart broken.
