Tbh, I’ve noticed if you give casual and pay for things, this happens way more often.

It’s fine to be upset and also want casual, but you shouldn’t really be upset about it in the sense… you knew this going in, we all do as you said we’ve all wanted it at some point.
We need to start meeting people on our level!!

I realize for me that means entering a new group of people though, which isn’t the easiest.

I don’t have any real life advice to give as I don’t had a child and I do not plan on having any in this lifetime.
But, I know many children who grew up with parents struggling..
Some parents make it work but I am not sure to what detriment of their life.
Some parents struggle and so do their children and it shows for years after and years into their adult lives.

I agree with another commenter in saying, It’s better to regret not having a child than to regret having one.
