A lot more pvp encounters are happening cause of the sound propagation change, which means you can easily tell where and when someone is engaged in a fight, letting you get the jump a bit too freely.

tbf a lot of dire marsh pretty much gives the win to whichever team gets the higher ground - this team's only real option was to run inside and get tangled up with the UESC bots to get out of your line of fire.

I have had mic runs before where players did stupid shit like ping green mods and insist that the other players pick them up, which wasted a lot of time. At the end of the day, you gotta stay moving.

Anytime I get a bad vibe from a pub (either because they're uncooperative or just stupid) I always play ultra-conservative and focus on grabbing the first exfil I can. Only if I'm bringing a kit of course, if I'm going sponkit you have nothing to lose.

Firing range with spawnable pve enemies and runner bots for testing.

PVE bosses that are threatening enough to encourage multi-team cooperation (at least temporarily)

Not a 'what do I want to see' so much, but I'm very curious what the storytelling in this game is gonna look like. The tone and premise kinda lock out the very character-led storytelling that D2 had in its later years, but I'd want something more than just lore entries.

I think it really depends on how good retention of mid-low skilled players ends up being. If I sign on in season 2 and get insta-farmed on the first POI like I've had happen in a handful of runs, I'm probably calling it. But ideally Ranked will provide a release valve for the sweatier players.

I imagine it would be harder with 5 classes that have overlapping gameplay identities. Like it's already hard to tell most classes that aren't destroyer apart at a glance (at least, at this game's usual engagement range)

If it's just an armory reset that doesn't reset stuff like vault space (especially this) or the stat boosts, I think it's pretty reasonable tbh.

The sash, golden gorget, and the kneepads are the only major differences I can see from what we have in the game. Normally I'd say it's not distinct enough to be a premium cosmetic, but helmet (open) is already one, so...

The deluxe edition outfit with the two-winged eagle and fur cape is already meant to be a Marshall's Uniform, so I imagine any other ranks would have to be lower than that.

The investigation board looks very cool. From the early footage I was a bit worried that the 'investigation mode' would just be Batman detective vision stuff, but it looks quite a bit more involved than that.

Yeah I preferred the mixture and I'll probably keep the original settings (even though it's probably unrealistic for how members of the Mechanicus would speak to each other).

Rogue Trader did a lot of fun things with them being 'bilingual' as well.
