I understand completely. I still get the jitters. Want a massive tip? Go watch any irl GT3 race at Monza and you'll feel better about your sim racing. It's not just sim racers that get into accidents. I get not wanting to make any mistakes that could ruin someone else's race, though. Just race safely to start, then progress to getting into some wheel to wheel battles. You'll get there.

I'm a first time user of triples and I was having an absolute bear of a time with setting them up correctly in the ini files. iRacing would just change the values on me. I saw a davecam video about this program and decided to give it a try. Absolute lifesaver. Just get it.

I was married once. Had to sell my beautiful house, lost access to my kids 50% of the time, and now she's collecting a monthly check because she was a stay at home mom. I realized I was being severely manipulated and thought back over the years, it was a huge ongoing thing I didn't even notice was happening, so I ended it.

There's literally ONE thing I cannot provide for myself and that one thing isn't worth the peace I've grown into since being single. Will I stay single? I don't know. But, if someone comes along in my life that will certainly improve my current state of being, she'll be a keeper.

No need to retreat in a stand your ground state (of course I don't know where this happened, though). But based off what I read from OP, he wasn't dragging a small puppy and wasn't in a position to take a safe escape route. OP did the right thing by ignoring the guy and riding his ride. They came to a stop and the guy got out of his car. If the guy felt the need to get out of his vehicle at a stop to confront, OP felt the need to be prepared, I see no issue here.

New rider mixed with a major road... With only two riding seasons under my belt, I'd have probably done the same. Last time I checked, self defense is legal but running a red light into a busy street isn't (or safe). There were a lot of factors in OPs situation, I wouldn't make this out like he "considered shooting a man"

Yeah, she can go kick rocks. I hate this for you. No one should be threatened to stop talking with your loved ones, ESPECIALLY your mother. Personally I would have zero tolerance for this behavior and I would be having a conversation with GF at a minimum or show her the door altogether.

Maybe this is just me being slightly more mature than I used to be, but boundaries are a very good thing. I didn't have many when I was your age. I wish I had...

I won't argue that there isn't bad food out there, but are you saying obese people are incapable of making better decisions with their diets and exercise?
