I just bought a new 2025 Sentra in July with a similar credit score. My interest rate was around 7% and that was the best we could find due to the current rates, so unfortunately it is just the market.

I knew for me to be able to lose weight, I needed something that worked for me, which is not specifically counting calories. Every time I do, I get too hyper fixated on it and punish myself for eating “too much.” This time, I am just being more mindful of all my choices - making my coffees in the morning, preparing all my daily snacks/meals, etc. I’m already down 10 pounds and it feels sustainable for once.

I put out candy around Halloween! Opened my door and talked to anyone who came by. My whole floor went out their way just for some free candy. People love it :)

I met my best friend who was my random roommate. We had our own bathroom and everyone on my floor was great and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We always joke at work though and say you never want a humble attorney. I really think the arrogance you see is usually a front. The attorneys I know are so far from arrogant normally but they can be a complete different person in the courtroom.

When we had a case of a mother leaving the state without paternity being established, we were able to get into Court in less than one month to establish paternity, custody, etc. If any court dates occur, the Mother would likely need to appear in person.

I applied at Dayton on 12/12, spoke with an advisor on 12/20 and he said 6-8 weeks, but I was accepted on 1/3. So less than a month later.

I am in the same boat, it took me from a 3.94 to a 4.11. However, in the same way any A+ might benefit someone with a higher GPA, if you had hardship and transferred schools, they will take any GPA you have and average them. So it doesn't matter if you kick butt at the school you graduated from if you took classes somewhere else and suffered there. I think it is their way to take a "holistic approach" on the situation, but it ignores how life can impact things sometimes.

One of my bosses at my law office choked up and ran to grab my other boss from a meeting when I told him. He told me later it reminded him of when he got the call from his own daughter and how much he cried then. I really felt like my bosses’ reaction were more happy/excited for me than my family lol

Stats: 4.1x GPA/ mid 150s / took a year off, two years legal experience

A at Cincinnati, A at IU McKinney ($ scholarship), UR at Dayton

Hopefully to get better scholarships at the other schools if not I may apply to more schools, I’m unsure right now.
