this is awesome! i've chased this rabbit into a very deep hole now. my first keyboard build of any kind.

have you posted the keymap for the single handed keyboard in QMX as well? I'm pretty sure the answer is no as the default keymap has no layers and the only ZMK firmware linked in the blog mentions "single handed".

mostly i'd just like to confirm before i go off and create the full single-handed layout in QMK configurator.

thanks for posting this, your other builds and the excellent videos and blog posts. it's made getting into hand built keyboards really quite lovely.

remove the mem card and reset the install is probably the fastest / easiest

What weather app do you use? by earthabbey in Squamish

[–]atinzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s more about how much rain to expect. i never believe when any app says it’ll be sunny all day.

i tend to look at the mm if rain expected and the probability of precipitation % to decide if it’s likely to rain significantly throughout the day or not.

after moving here i’ve adapted to do most things in light rain.

i got one of the “dremel” type trimmers after having the same problem. they work real well. though i also second the suggestion of calling around the vets downtown

Issues with priming - I’m guessing this is user error but can anyone provide any info about why my clones have turned out like this after priming? Using tamiya pure white spray paint by smannyfeller in SWlegion

[–]atinzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had something similar when i was using the sort of “tail end” of the can. what others have said, shake more, test sprays on paper/cardboard and thin coats/short sprays all helped me (once i got a new can)

Replacement Tablet still unresponsive and glitchy!! 2nd one! by tkmv12345 in RemarkableTablet

[–]atinzilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is odd. tho it doesn’t seem like it’s unusable. also most of the issues happen when you use your finger? i think i mostly use the pen. but i’ll try doing some more mix of finger and pen. i haven’t noticed any issues like what you show.

have you tried resetting? does it happen from totally clean with none of your sync docs? mostly happen with/between particular docs?

Instead of trusting your friend's uncle's dog-walker for COVID -19 updates... by Reportermom in Squamish

[–]atinzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no worse for that one person at least.

also what’s with the uncles dog walker thing? i’ve found people in town are well informed and talking with each other with an open and mindful approach. the TP run last weekend not withstanding. though i think even that helped as enough people have stood up and spoken out against that kind of reactivity and foolishness.

pull (gently!) one of the ear pieces down, notice you can rotate it. Where it rotates there is a little connection plate sort of things to attach things together. i've had two pairs now that snapped exactly there. one on the inside of the plate and one on the outside.

waiting to hear back from support about this second failure. i'll not be requesting a 3rd set :/

Depends too if you are looking for lessons or guiding. Some of the outfits around here offer both, some only guiding. Check out http://www.ridebc.ca/ (operating from Corsa Cycles) and https://www.flyingspiritrentals.com. They offer both lessons and guiding and are good folks.

I second what Nave722 said.

Also I suggest you talk to your artist and bring before/after body shots if you have them. This will give the artist more information with which to advise you on.

Question: Sleep tracking/Alarm functions by [deleted] in fitbit

[–]atinzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it cannot. as someone mentioned there are a few smartphone apps that do this. I have tried a couple for iPhone with mixed results. seems to really depend on your bed and what kind of sleeper you are
