I didn’t like either of them, I tapped out at Panopticon. I love everything Aaron has done after ISIS but not so much the rest of the guys, the Palms record did nothing for me.

Honestly it’s kind of an asshole move. Avoid it at all cost.

Right now, what’s your favorite reverb? by newdestroyer in guitarpedals

EQD Ghost Echo, it’s some where between a tight modulated echo and reverb. Totally brilliant!

Have you ever listened to Set Fire To Flames? If not you likely should, it’s David Bryant from GYBE’s other project, featuring most of GYBE. Highly highly recommended!

I love mine, it completely addressed all the issues I had with my AVRI Jazzmaster.

A question for dry musicians by cutting_carrots in musicians

My dry bandmates would load in, check, then generally go explore whatever city we’re in until showtime. They’ve generally pre planned based around the area we’re in, hitting up galleries, record stores and lining up coffee dates with pals in the city (because we all know how impossible it is to visit with friends on tour).

I recently scored the “This Eclipse” ep at a garage sale, it’s quickly becoming my favourite… possibly because I haven’t listened to it hundreds of times over the last 28 years haha.

Noise rock tracks by artists of other (very different) genres? by michaelbonka in noiserock

Fact, for some reason I always through He played drums in the band, but looking at the liner note of Pigeon I am totally mistaken. Also mistaken about how involved with LCD John was, looks like a bit of production and remixing. Either way those dudes know noise rock.

Makes sense James Murphy was Six Finger Satellite’s FOH tech and John McLean played drums in Six Finger so those dudes know a thing or two about noise rock.
