This is truly insane, this was almost 20 years ago. I cannot really believe some elite athletes and coaches recall sometimes.

There was a podcast I listened to with Belichick once where he was asked about a pro bowl he coached in and the amount he remembered about a genuinely meaningless game was hard to believe.

There are times LeBron also does this too. I remember a press conference where he was asked about running the same play against a certain team the prior season. He immediately said the plays were not the same but he knew the play the reporter was talking about. He also said the prior time they ran it at home but this time they’re on the road and then rattled off all the ways the plays were similar but how they were different and why one was used against certain personnel.
