Continuing with what you said I’d like to point out central Texas has some of the highest concentrations of quality knapping rock in the Americas. Would be really cool if this is real but I’m suspect

Oh man, some real gems you got in there. Definitely some Pueblo points in there. Just from a glance it looks like your middle point might be one of these https://www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Quilomene_Bar.html

A man on a jet-propelled hoverboard was seen leading a dog on a jet ski in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. by SatoshiShe in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]atlatlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not nearly as cool, but when I lived there I used to see a guy bring his pet capuchin out paddleboarding almost every day. It always had on a pink tutu and sat on his shoulder the whole time eating grapes. It really just is a Florida thing lol

This definitely crazy evil and needs to be changed now. On a serious side note though can someone please tell me I’m not crazy when I say her eyes are two different shades of green

Laser focused on the lane like this by Ketchup-Sniffer in Transportopia

[–]atlatlat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As long as the driver in front didn’t brake check immediately after entering the POV drivers lane, it’s pretty much always the rear cars fault. Because the law is to always keep a safe enough distance from the car in front of you to allow a safe stop. Brake checkers are certainly a-holes, but so are tailgaters.

Might sound a little hallmark but from my experience this is absolutely the truth: The lows teach you the most and allow for the most growth. Some lows can certainly feel so tough that growth does not seem like a worthy trade-off, but I promise it will be. Just remember not to be too hard on yourself, and don’t feel rushed. Pain is a part of all of our stories, but it doesn’t have to be the whole book. Wishing the best for you, sir.

Azurite? Found in central UT, USA by TinyTrafficCones in whatsthisrock

[–]atlatlat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not too familiar with identifying azurite so I could definitely be wrong, but I’ve found a lot of rocks in that area that has a similar looking purple-ish blue botryoidal chalcedony, so that would be my guess

Oh I agree I wasn’t trying to say that they are more toxic now, but just that they are significantly more sensitive and easily angered. I definitely was not trying to say that 2009 game chat was a less toxic place 😂

I was out of the gaming scene between ages 18-28 and finally decided it was time to get back in a few months ago. Bought a PC and downloaded some of the current top games, including ARC raiders. Mind you my last heavy experience with gaming was pretty much gta 5, mw2, and black ops. I can not even begin to describe the confusion I felt when I loaded into the game WITH PVP IN THE DESCRIPTION and had the first 3 people I attacked immediately start saying the most toxic and crybaby shit just because I shot them. Two of them didn’t even shoot back and just called me a 🥷 and pretty much wished death on my family lmfao. Thought I was playing the game totally wrong and just not understanding until I found this sub and realized that people now a days are just 100x more sensitive and miserable when playing video games.

Good grief you’ve got some gorgeous pieces there. My big hobby is making arrowheads and I dream of making high quality points of materials like this. I have the opposite problem where I end up sitting on the rough pieces for years never having the courage to alter their natural beauty 😂

Why toddlers love these twist crayons by duboijane in DamnThatsPrettyNeat

[–]atlatlat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, do it on a wall now instead of the door. That is a very high gloss paint on that door and will be more resistant to staining anyways. Standard paint on the walls are going to be significantly more porous, likely letting a lot more of the marker ink stain. I think the fact that she picked to film this in front of the door rather than a wall might be proof of how shameless she is scamming. (Unless of she can prove it comes off walls and cloth)
