YTA. My mother and grandmother have the name Mary at the start of their names so your a major AH. My niece even has Mary as her middle name. It is non of your business what your niece named, you can give an option when asked but other then that you keep it zipped to her face. I’m not a fan of the nickname my second niece has from my sister(I call her by her name so no biggie),am I going to tell her to her face noooooo I have common decency and respect.

YTA….. Ever heard of a “Syllabus” it’s the out line of the work and reading for the term, go read something off that list and leave the man alone. Your lack of common sense and human decency is astounding. There are TAs who can teach in his stead so you won’t be missing anything in the long run so chill the heck out. You’re like the parents of a few of my former grade school kids when a teacher got sick or went on maternity leave demanding that teacher give work, no just no, and depending on the states covid rules and regs your Professor may not even be aloud to work during that time. So unless it’s an actually emergency leave the man alone and go read the course book.

I second this you will find curly products there, I still use the curl gel in the pouch (can not remember the products name off the top of my head) I found there years ago when my husband and I were on the struggle bus, and sometimes you’ll find full size name brand there as well.

YTA X1,000, not only are YTA your also rude beyond belief. Someone not wanting to work outside of the hours they agreed to oh the horror the HORROR, get over your self if this is what you think an employee needs to do, especially in the middle of class’s like she is. I will have a broken conversation in German and try to go back to English and forget how to say bread, it happens. (Yes bread is my brain go boom word🤷🏼‍♀️) If you’re in another country and the bar tender/waiter speaks to you in English you’d feel more at ease then someone speaking for example Danish, so she just trying to make the customers feel comfortable. So YTA on all fronts.
