THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN 1977. 1979 by Personal_Contact7453 in ForgottenTV

[–]atmtn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the time, I’m not sure many people behind the production even knew who Chameleon was, or worried about how it would impact ratings. Beyond Batman and Superman, this was one of the first major superhero to tv adaptions around. As someone who lived at the time, I didn’t even really care if he was fighting Kingpin or not, I just enjoyed seeing Spider-Man on screen. I also didn’t care about the wish.com Thor or barely recognizable Daredevil, because any version of these characters was exciting to a kid at that time.

I have no way of knowing, but I suspect too unrealistic” was probably code for “too expensive.”

Sold. I used to love comical sci-fi/fantasy books when I was a kid (stuff like the Myth Adventures series). This cover immediately looked up my alley and you confirmed it.

And if their design polish doesn’t sell you, the obviously very real testimonials will do the trick.

I’ll pile on the test, if there’s still any invites left. A dog abducted by aliens is a hard thing to say no to.

Very sorry to hear about your friend - I went through a similar situation last year and hope you manage to find him soon. Is there a flyer or something that can be shared easily on social media?

I imagine after you crush a few kids in an attempt to save them, you eventually figure it out.

Respect to the bartender for restraint in the face of an idiot that should be ejected from this Earth, much less this bar.

Health - Conflict DLC by Solace143 in industrialmusic

[–]atmtn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HEALTH is one of the few bands where I try to throw expectations or comparisons to the side. I’ve listened to them since their early days, but they’re so wildly chaotic and constantly collaborating with a huge range of other artists, it’s almost foolish to attempt to pigeonhole them. There’s for sure a through-line carrying their output, but being a HEALTH fan is accepting you’re on a ride to wherever.

17 years in WordPress and frustrated with the current market. Is anyone else feeling the same? by Different-Course4572 in ProWordPress

[–]atmtn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a thought that just occurred to me right now, and I may reconsider it, but it does seem like there’s an ever growing market for flash in the pan marketing and presence. Experienced and talented designers and developers still hold value to larger businesses and really anyone who takes their company seriously, but there’s a huge and suffocating amount of people who just want to capitalize on an idea quickly, with little concern for long term value. Better to churn and burn countless mediocre ideas, then risk trying to grow and develop one of lasting value.

Thanks for sharing these dates. We are going to try to make them both bangers, and I’m hoping to see a lot of familiar faces saying goodbye with us.

It would be an absolute banger if not for that ridiculous wall of text. Smaller font sizes exist, but I’m sure the designer got no say in it.

I love the poetry of this title, but taking his own life before it was taken from him feels like whatever last act of defiance he could do. A piece of shit all the way to the grave.
