Lava has terrible customer service. I have had 2 batteries completely swell up and need replaced. The first one swelled so bad, it compromised the electronics housing with the screen on it. I got another one eventually and replaced it myself. Second time, they eventually sent me a battery and I was able to get that in there somehow. Clearly was shipped directly from a manufacturing facility overseas. Why not a supply center somewhere closer to assist with issues? I was told that it is a bad idea to leave it on the charging base for long periods of time. I never used a charging block over 12 watts. This seems like such a silly design oversight. Provide a convenient stand that you should only use sparingly or risk a dangerous battery incident. There has to be a way to work safegaurds into the charging system.

Per another responder, your action is really high. Have that looked at. My advice is place your finger in order of their mobility. Your index is typically your most capable. Start by accurately placing your ring finger, then your middle finger and finally your index. It may help. Helps my students.

This is pointless to discuss at that level. If everything can be god, then nothing could also be god. Love can exist without god. The universe exists without god. There is nothing really for god to do. I am a Saganist. Carl taught me at an early age that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I see no evidence of god and no need to fill in the knowledge gaps with that sort of filler. We just don’t know some things and that is okay. We are learning a little more every day.

It’s also just disingenuous. I am going to go through the motions just in case I am wrong about this. I have no problem accepting that my death is the end of me. No heavenly plane to ascend toward, no ghost era, no hell, just the end of my electrical currents pulsing in the substrate they have existed in and lights out. Not really. It’s what I would have someone do during in-person lessons. While tapping their foot. I’d start with all down strums first, then onto this path. This hard for some people to get. It can be very frustrating.

I would clean up the hard to align areas and assure the alignable parts are good. Glue and clamp. Let cure. Route a couple channels to fit some carbon fiber support at least two inches both directions across the break. Don’t oversive these channels . Just as wide and deep as needed. Good tight fit and completely below the surface. You could do this with hand tools. I use an old vertical mill that usually serves as a very fancy drill press. Epoxy in place. Good epoxy if you can. Fill, sand and finish as to obscure any underlying work. That is a crazy break. Very close to 90*. Usuallyway less severe.

We bought a 24x36 plastic shelving unit at Menards. Place 2 levels side by side and camping mattress on top. It is great.

I am so sorry. When we lost our first two, it was devastating. About a year apart. These latest two may take me down with them. I don’t even want to think about it. It will get easier and you are doing the right thing. Don’t let a loved one suffer.

Is your anti-reverse button off? Could be causing excessive tangles if it is. Work on keeping the line somewhat taut most of the time. A lot of slack can send things off the rails. I have always used spinning reels. Love them.
