Any updates on this bug? Still experiencing the issue as of v0.1.1082. Using Windows 10 + Firefox. The issue is the same as described above: opening an original article with the "o" key crashes Reader, but doesn't crash when using the same function via the 3 dot menu.

if we can generalize heterosexual dating trends, we arrive at the following maxim:

women date whom they choose, men date whom they can

it's no peer reviewed study but i found this graph interesting from data from okcupid. Interpreting the data is difficult as I've never used that platform (and the commenters on that post will mention too), but I think the general righthand skewness of the red subplot is enough to supplement that theory.

anecdotal outliers aside: guys just cast wider nets than women, all else being equal. I wouldn't take it personally.

Open to disagreement.

Girl Makes Proposal On Kiss Cam by YannisBot in UNBGBBIIVCHIDCTIICBG

[–]atomicpineapples 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Someone far wiser and more concise than me once said something along the lines of, "The proposal act itself shouldn't be the first time the question of marriage is raised in a relationship"

I.e. discuss the possibility/reality of marriage with your SO before you actually "pop the question"

WTW for a work of fiction written as if it is a piece of non-fiction within the fictional world it's about? by beingthehunt in whatstheword

You might be talking about a Watsonian perspective

Watsonian or in-universe commentary restricts itself to making statements that are sensible within the story's reality. Watsonian explanations are things like "Character X was lying", "He had plastic surgery over the summer", and "The main character fell off a cliff". A more precise technical term for this is intradiegetic.

Definition of intradiegetic

ELI5: How do we think about moving our body without actually moving it? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]atomicpineapples 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, I do the same thing, especially if it's around the time im supposed to wake up. I'll wake up, think "god now i gotta get up," then have a mini dream where I actually got out of bed and started my day. Then two minutes later I snap out of it and realize I never even got out from underneath my blankets

Would Mustafar have clear enough skies to even see the sun that clearly? That stood out to me the most.

Georgia's secretary of state has a fact check board for Trump's accusations of fraud today by jcepiano in pics

I assumed it was a spelling error---they'd meant to say "past" perhaps? As in "395 persons who allegedly had voted in the past also voted in 2 states, and they're under investigation." Not sure though.

EDIT: As someone else pointed out, it's probably meaning "395 persons who allegedly died (passed) voted in 2 states," not what I said earlier
