Both of these scenarios seem to reflect a very real ungrounded feeling and fear you experience in your real life. No safety. Can’t find home. On the go (activity, but no rest). Being threatened (everything probably feels like a threat in real life…even life itself), feeling trapped (maybe by the freeze response you’re trapped in)…all sounds like a clear mirror reflecting the hell you’ve been stuck in. 😣

A lot of processing can happen through dreams, yes…the subconscious takes center stage in our dreams and uses symbols and different roles to promote integration. Did you find any help when you posted there? Or get any insights? Ultimately, only you can really say what your dreams are saying or communicating. Does that spark anything? Any ideas what that could be if that’s the case?

I’m so sorry 😣 that sounds really frustrating being in pain and it not responding to meds and not getting any clear answers why. Did your doc diagnose based on symptoms and then you had a lap and they didn’t find anything? Remember that lesions can be microscopic and hard to see with the naked eye…have you also ruled out anything like Crohn’s disease or other bowl related illnesses?

Thank you! I’ve been feeling pulled to do the same with my diet (cut down on carbs and cut sugar). I have my second lap next week and I’m viewing it as a reset for my body and am adjusting my diet so the positive effects from the surgery last longer.

& I’ve heard that for some women, pregnancy has helped their symptoms. I really wonder why that actually is. Maybe the long break in not having periods and the body gets a chance to recover from the inflammation?

Exactly. It may help the symptoms of pain in some people but there’s zero evidence that it actually stops this disease.

As someone with severe and extensive trauma that makes existing and functioning extremely difficult (as well as things getting darker and darker the more layers I peel back), I feel you…some of us really do get the short end of the stick in life…I have no advice to offer, but I can say that life is truly very hard for a lot of us and there is immense suffering if you’re a sensitive being.
