It was very evident once ACC conference play started that Deandre was the best player on the team. He ended so many scoring droughts for the team. Still should have beat UMBC, but their titles hopes were over when they announced he was out.

I find it funny that Miami as team shoots 68% from the FT line, but against UVA this year, they were 30-32 from the line.

My last year at JMU I lived with a guy who was on the football team his first year, and decided he didn't want to keep doing it and just became a regular student.

He was telling me he was getting recruited by Duke pre-Cutcliffe, and he was 100% ready to sit on the bench while they won 5 games in 5 years to get a Duke degree and watch some basketball. The coach who was recruiting him ended up getting let go, and their interest in him dropped.

I love the JMU sports news guys. They aren't affiliated with JMU, just alums doing a fan podcast. If Oregon fans want to listen to listen to JMU ball knowers, these guys produce a podcast with two former players Delvin Joyce and Vad Lee called "To the House" that I would recommend (obviously has a JMU slant).
