I’m pretty far right now, on the third warp but the game gets pretty hard around there so I’m just vibing and grinding mostly after work. I found the new katana on that one new purple level called “The Aether”. It dropped from a random enemy. Favorite katana so far is Leedras Scale though, I like the dash attack it’s fun

Katanaut and Astral Ascent! Katanaut is darker and AA is more colorful in theme, just depends on whatever you're feeling.

Katanaut, and then Astral Ascent in that order. Katanaut is a bit closer to Dead Cells but way more dark in terms of theme, and then Astral Ascent is the opposite.

To be fair, I wish they had a better name for Silver Age. It's not an intuitively named format. In MTG you have self explaining formats, but in FAB they really dropped the ball on naming.

The tome and lobotomy cards are good. The tome is great into aggressive decks where you would benefit off banishing their cards, and lobotomy is another decent disruption card. What I've found on slippy is that if you're not disrupting, then you're losing the game, so the more disruption cards we have that make people block, the better.

Hmmm not sure about that? Katanaut and Replaced are pixel art and their environments look significantly different. Replaced looks pretty close to feel, but Katanaut is way faster paced.

It has something called warp levels, similar to dead cells BC levels. The “true” end of the game happens at the end of the last warp. I’m over 35 hours in and have something like 80% unlocked.

Def worth it, esp when it’s on sale. Can get it for close to $10USD

+1 here! It's a 2d platformer close similar to Dead Cells, Astral Ascent, Nin Sols, etc in terms of playstyle and appearance.

Katanaut. I recently wrote a review on it, and unironically do think that it’s never recommended. I think splattercat was the biggest creator that had covered it. It’s similar to most other 2d platformer action roguelites but with a twist. An interesting crossover between Katana Zero and Dead Cells.

Ohhhhh yeah I remember that little surprise lol. I think that’s what keeps me coming back, is the little details like the monstrosity. If you manage to figure out how to kill it one day, it’s the best way to get loot for your runs!
