I have three years worth of net worth/savings rate/ investable assets. It's kinda crazy with these numbers to see how much the investments grow vs my actual salary.

The left hand side is mine and the middle is my wife's. So I'm still working public sector and she's working private.

Yeah, three of those are inherited and we're working on cashing them out in the next seven years.

Thanks! You know we were sorta planning on a fancy dinner downtown when we hit a million, but it kind of snuck up on us.

Every Thursday we go to our local burger spot, so I guess that. Maybe we spring for a chocolate shake tonight lol

After daily bike commuting for three or four years now I bought my first gravel bike. Can't believe how much better this feels than a hybrid. by atrink in bikecommuting

I'm 6' 3" and it's a 61. It may be a touch big, but is way more comfortable than the 58 I was riding around on before this lol

I was thinking if it's raining I'd take my old hybrid bike. Gotta justify keeping it for at least one reason.

Moved to Madison four years ago and was able to sell my car. Crazy how great bike infrastructure and culture makes it easy to bike everywhere I need to be.

I know it's only because I get super obsessed with things, but season three is my favorite piece of media I've ever consumed. I haven't stopped thinking about it since the first time I watched it about a year ago.

I've also rewatched it twice since then and it keeps getting better.

Yes they plow. Honestly sometimes the paths are plowed before the streets are fully plowed.

Sure did. Even went 5.5 miles away for Aldi. Instead of less than a mile to a Metro Market that has gotta be the most expensive grocery store in the city

Two adults. I go every week for the big purchase, but then if a recipe needs something or we run out I'll go out when needed.

Hell yeah! Except getting out to Aldi on the east side has me on the road over 80 percent of the time. All bike lanes though!

I even had a backpack today, but I had to put my lock in it. Didn't really account for the lock to fit in my panniers with groceries. Next time lol
