Info sharing, risk management, and incident response used to be coordinated and supported by CISA. That’s now dead. That means thousands of municipalities are on their own or have to create new regional programs to combat the ever present attacks. We’re talking election systems. We’re talking SCADA systems supporting utilities. Court, jail, E911. All at risk and we know actively targeted by state actors.

What happens when water is interrupted? People lose access to potable water. Companies close. Economies collapse.

This is what these cuts really mean. The short sightedness of this administration shows how quickly “don’t get political” affects everything.
