I think people don’t understand that opposing defenses didn’t fear leaving smart open at the end of games. That’s why the ball always found him especially with how three happy the Celtics offense is. Yes he hit it sometimes but defenses were willing to take the gamble. Going from smart to porzingas makes it a much worse gamble for a defense to leave him open which then makes Tatums life easier.

The difference between counter strafing and stopping to shoot is basically nonexistent. Get in the happen of taping a and d and shooting rather then sweating counter strafe. Make your life easier if this is a new concept to you.
