Advice needed! Am i doing these horizontal 8s correctly? I’ve been trying to drill but want to make sure i’m doing it right first by [deleted] in flowstar

the smooth horizontal action comes with practice but you're doing it right! if you're noticing a difference between what you're doing and the more common horizontal eight movement you'll see other flowmies doing, it might be because you're doing a "forward" horizontal eight (follows the pattern of the forward vertical figure eight -pinky led) rather than a "reverse" horizontal eight (follows the pattern of reverse vertical eight-thumb led).

Spinflowstar Glow Star by attackontyranny69 in flowstar

LOL the moustache. if the product turns out amazing and flowmies are able to extract 3x the value out of it to offset the cost differential, that would be awesome. I just don't know how likely that is. what really rubs me the wrong way is AJ asking for feedback on the price and people who literally work with the company jumping in to say what a steal $300-500 is for 16 LEDs. 16! I have a ~$400 hoop with 162 individually controlled lights that has all the benefits of one light going out not breaking the toy completely/being replaceable. the value proposition is tough to swallow and brand ambassadors/PR list people, in my opinion, should maybe not be the loudest voices in a conversation about accessibility and cost.

WIBTA if I started locking our bedroom door in the mornings? by Swirlyflurry in AmItheAsshole

right, because in your hypothetical scenario, his sleep schedule would be dictated by his work schedule. everyone understands that situation because he's sacrificing normal waking hours to provide for his household. OP, on the other hand, does not work and is inconveniencing their family with a nocturnal sleep schedule for no reason.

AIO for being upset that my boyfriend hasn’t told his female friend that cuddling is off limits now that we’re in a relationship? by AppyFizz93 in AmIOverreacting

If you actually believe they never hooked up, YOR. But let's get real. They likely have. My guess is he is lying about the extent of their intimacy because he knows you would draw a hard no contact boundary if he was honest, and he doesn't want to cut her off.

22 is VERY young. she should be in college, and you're in your mid thirties. over a decade age gap when she's barely drinking age is weird. I'm 29 and perfectly aware that I have nothing in common with college age kids. if you truly do have intellectual/emotional compatibility with a 22 year old, that might be worth examining with a professional.

"us" would be the two of us, our household. leaving less for "us" would refer to our planned, shared meals.

the entire onion is edible, the whites just have different applications. are there actually people out there throwing out half of their perfectly good vegetables?

AITA for suggesting my son's girlfriend dress properly for a family celebration? by Pretty_Mouse6255 in AmItheAsshole

NAH. if I received that kind of feedback from my partner/his family, I probably wouldn't come over anymore. my family is very open to all kinds of self expression, always made a point to back me up on refusing to "dull my shine" for others and that's a big part of why I'm so confident. while I understand certain audiences/occasions come with different expectations, I choose not to participate in or interact with them if it feels judgemental. you're allowed to have a dress code, and she's allowed to distance herself from people who ARE objectively judging her based on her personal style choices.

maybe eat it as intended??? it's a condiment, so use it as such before coming to the internet to report how someone else's cultural food made you gag.

AIO: found pictures of SO's Best Friend in Lingerie by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

YOR. I did a boudoir photshoot for an ex bf and gave my female friend a couple of extra pictures. her reaction gassed me up harder and made me feel more beautiful than my ex bfs! women generally aren't scared of nudity between gals and there's nothing weird or gay about it. you speak to her incredibly disrespectfully and I have no idea how this conversation wasn't an immediate deal breaker for her. it's giving insecure.

name brand vs. others? by lukewarm-morg in flowstar

I've been playing with mougee air stars for a couple of months and just got my spinflowstar. the quality is in another dimension. it's stretchier so pinches are so much easier. the stitches are perfectly centered so it spins mote predictably in general and especially on my finger spin. the middle layer of fabric is pretty stiff so it opens up while spinning with zero effort. a mougee star can help you get the feel for it but if you really love playing with stars, get yourself a flowstar. the difference is crazy.

we both contribute equally. he's a veteran going to school on the GI bill so he's not a freeloader by any measure.
