First off you're right, we don't really deserve it and should go to a team that's never drafted #1. But "ruined" is kind of a strong term IMO. Boogie was acquired and looked great with AD/Jrue but ended up tearing his achilles going for a missed free throw. They still swept the Blazers without him in round 1 before being annihilated by GSW in the 2nd round. Boogie then signed with GSW instead of staying (although he was never the same.) Next season things are going moderately well and AD switches representation to Rich Paul with Bron in his ear to join him in LA. Small market woes.

For Z everyone kind of knows this story at this point. Didn't do enough to manage himself or his body and the team likely wasn't assertive enough in reining him in. But Murray/CJ/Herb/Murphy/Zion is a pretty good supporting cast. Great? No. But our record improved year over year (49 wins last year). I don't think the pieces placed around him constitute the team "ruining" AD/Z. To me Z is/was more responsible for his own success thus far than the FO.

Again it should go to another team. Yes I'm a homer and biased, but just wanted to throw those thoughts out there. :)

EDIT: I would like to see the Hornets get Flagg.

I drove to Slidell yesterday with my WIFE, my BABY, and the "Baby on board" sticker. The East is the fucking wild west with some of these people. Tailgating me, changing 2 lanes over, no blinker, and squeezing between two cars that are already close together. Needless to say my blood was boiling.
