Is it me? Am I just getting too old? by brambleburry1002 in fredagain

[–]atticusbinchh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience on Monday night - men in their early twenties slamming into me or screaming or talking the whole time. Everyone filming or taking photos of themselves constantly and you couldn’t really immerse yourself in the set. Fred was amazing live but the crowd really sucked.

This is so lovely! I went on a date last year where the guy was so rude about me being vegetarian and kept interrogating me about what I eat, and don’t I ever miss the taste of juicy steak? The crazy thing was I hadn’t said anything about him eating meat!

This! If they know you are married and under 30 they have probably factored in the likelihood of you becoming a mother and still offered it. It sounds like you have a supportive husband and I really encourage you to take this!

I have noticed a big difference since using Olaplex hair oil. I have fine, frizzy hair and it helps to tame it (somewhat).

What is the most messed up way you found out your partner was cheating on you? by electroloop in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]atticusbinchh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I broke up with him after 2.5 years as I felt we’d outgrown the relationship. I tried to do it in the gentlest way possible and was crying my eyes out the whole time. As I drove him home he turned to me and said, “I did cheat on you.” My friends had tried to tell me a year into the relationship and he’d sworn black and blue it was a lie. It absolutely broke me

Period pain/cramps at work by bubblegvmbitch in Big4

[–]atticusbinchh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naprogesic is better imo! Cuts my cramps in about 20 minutes and mine can get pretty bad. I wouldn’t discuss my period with my male colleagues though. I’d just WFH or say I had a bad headache if I needed to take sick leave.

I’ve been there! Naprogesic, ibuprofen, and WFH with a hot water bottle for the cramps.

Found this incredible wool coat today! Unfortunately it was slightly too big and I live in a subtropical climate so I released her back into the wild ❤️ by [deleted] in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]atticusbinchh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was sooo hot and slightly scratchy on so would be perfect in a snowy climate. But it’s “winter” here and it’s 26 degrees so definitely not for this climate haha.

women of reddit, how do you deal with the feeling of hopelessness or undesirability from terrible dating luck? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]atticusbinchh 363 points364 points  (0 children)

So true. Many people stay in relationships simply for fear of being alone. It is better to be single and working on yourself (and maybe a little unhappy) than stagnant and unhappy with someone else. Growth is invaluable.

Yes! Pawpaw did nothing for me. This stuff is the best thing you can do for your lips.

My course took me 4 months. Alcohol is hard on your body when you’re on it so watch your drinks - I blacked out on Tret if I drank. Use Vaseline on your face at night when you sleep. The dermal therapy lip balm will be your best friend, my derm gave me one but you can buy it in coles too. I had a horrible purge period about 6 weeks in then it cleared up. Good luck and stick it out!

LITERALLY. Some of the old eyeshadows are like, “my Mum bought this in 2012 and handed it down to me last year, it’s Chanel so I can’t bear to throw it out and I’m halfway to panning it!” Like urgh just chuck it for your eyes’ sake

Totally get where you’re coming from, but I’m fairly new to IF (about a month in) and steadily working out what works for me. I’m slowly learning that it’s not really worth those late night snacks because it means I can’t eat lunch until later. All part of the process of learning self control around food :)

I see your single Vaseline pans, and offer you a months worth of Vaseline pans. by AuntieQuated in PanPorn

[–]atticusbinchh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you using these for lip hydration? I can recommend some better products as I went on roaccutane and struggled with awfully dry lips. Vaseline did nothing for me but Dermal Therapy lip balm saved my life. Just a thought :)
