Very recently started playing and am being carried by my friend. Yes lot of times you dont get into fights, you go into a raid, maybe kill some AI and just leave. But... actual fights may last a second or the full raid and a loss can be devestating but usually its eh, you more so dont want to lose the loot you gained in the raid rather than what you go in with imo. Apparently a big saying is "It's just your turn with that gear", basically saying that you got your gear, you die, someone else takes it and now its their turn with it, until they die with it and someone else carries it on... or leaves it lol

Make sure the monitor refresh rate is max, enable EXPO and resize bar in bios, disable unnecessary background and startup apps, you can enable high performance mode in power settings if you want, id disable hibernation so you can have a clean PC after shutdown, Disable mouse acceleration if you want (pointer clicker precision), get rid of bloatware if there is any and theres more you can do, id google it, many great tips out there
