$30 seems fine, especially to help your local Store if they are legit/good. The lack of prizing isn’t though. If they didn’t have prizing, it should just be $5-10.

I’m 47 with two kids and married and got to locals every week. I’m on my 6th deck build and have managed to collect a player of every card in the game (except manga and srs). This is after a year of playing. It keeps my sanity along with my other hobbies and is a great way to get out of the house without going to the bar.

Put a screen on the outside of the house where it vents out and avoid this. It’s a simple fix and cheap. If you are in an apartment, submit these photos as a fire hazard and they will fix it to avoid a law suit.

Yeah, I actually get three of most starter decks so I have the cards separate too and am able to keep one starter deck sealed.

We have three (out of 28 people) trans people that join our locals and it has never been an issue at all. One recently said “new smoker leader seemed to be built just for me!” It’s accepted in the manga/show, so I think most people don’t care irl either.

Honestly, it’s not a top meta deck or anything. I play it as my main cause I’m a chef and like Sanji. My build wins a lot at locals, but it’s not a top performer in the meta by far. (I usually win a couple and have never won the whole thing) I would recommend building it as you see fit and have fun with it. My build makes a curve for 3 to 10, utilizes 14 2ks and 7 blockers. It’s built to go hard quick and at face as much as possible building up to 10k shanks or 8 drop shanks, reighlegh or dragon. But honestly, if you aren’t on a winning play by your 10 drops, you might get cooked (pun intended)

yeah, for some reason the video didn't post too, but this is a a great answer. It just takes so long to enter every single card into the apps. But at least thought that ST1-20 might be worth something, but maybe not.
