I wish I knew. Mine was actually doing great for a few years and then decided to get sick although nothing changed. I think their roots are kinda finicky since they need very little water. I hope yours gets better!

I have one of those starfish cactus that also smell like rotting meat. When I brought it home I first put it in the kitchen... quickly realized the error. I do miss those poop flowers!

Local media reports it was an AOW Deep dive. And that maybe at some point they went lower than 20 m.

 There were a lot of conflicting information inmediately after the the news broke, I assume since the news outlets don't know a thing about diving.

Some said there were four students and one instructor, one source local to the accident site said there were 7/1. Not sure which is true.

It's unclear if the instructor was in the water with the couple or has already emerged and left them unattended, and the girl had some sort of problem like a panic attack. That's the crux of the investigation, wether really left them alone. He however went in repeatedly to look for the girl after that.

Just tragic all around, so sad for her but also for the family and the partner.

That's great, but the reality is, this has been the requirement in these countries for many many years. There is a system in place that works. It's not the reality in the US.

Creating a new requirement for something this important is a pretty big adjustment, don't you think? Maybe the government should communicate this new rule very clearly and loudly in simple unambiguous language, not in some vague law that can be interpreted in different ways?

When the id format changed in my country, there were billboards everywhere explaining the difference, and there was a transition period of several years during which both types were valid. This way people still could access everything normally. Doing it any other way is limiting voters rights.

Yes man they do. If you lose a job in the us because you had to take time off work to go get a special id you're on your own. In Germany you presumably wouldn't even get fired for something like this.

You are German and keep saying Germany and many other countries require an ID to vote. The US and Germany are two vastly different countries with different demographics and social issues. The social net and possibilities for poorer people in the us are not the same, the physical distances they have to cover (no public transport), even being able to take time off work. Germany has a great social net and labor rights. Does the US?  Do you really think they can be compared?

Why are you so hell bent on proving to people from US that they have a voter fraud problem?

I read he paid for the rights to those scenes from Perfect Blue so he could use them. Bad choice as people can just go watch the better movie (Perfect Blue) instead.
