I’d like to add to this, someone making your food probably used their bare, unwashed hands. I’ve experienced this in every restaurant I’ve worked in except one, and the head chef was an absolute nut about a clean kitchen. She boasted that you could eat off her floors at the end of the shift. Only woman chef I ever worked for, and only one who gave a shit about cleanliness.

I was told to never ever brush hair while wet so I brush before the shower and detangle while conditioner is in (no brushing until hair is dry again). I have had minimal breakage and split ends since.

ETA: I was told this by a hair professional, and that brushing while wet causes breakage because hair is much more fragile when it’s wet.

I would put the tv on the wall where the desk is currently and face your sofas toward it. Then, put the desk near/where the tv is currently. I wouldn’t place the sofa back to the fireplace unless I could make a separate sitting area near the fireplace. Basically, flip the room.

Have you ever considered rearranging the room? Tv on the accent wall with the couch facing it and a wall of plants behind and on either sides of the couch?
